Sometimes getting a puppy can have you feeling so many different emotions ! Somedays you may feel happy & excited and some days you may feel scared & nervous . Either is perfectly fine and super normal . But dont worry ! I am here to help prepare and guide you when bringing in your new best friend
It is always good to ask yourself questions first to make sure you are ready for a new best friend ! Sometimes you may want a puppy but it may not be the best time for one (which is totally okay)
Make sure wanting a puppy is for the right reasons.
Realize this puppy will be in your life for awhile and you need to accept that you are completely responsible for the rest of their life.
You need to realize puppies take up a lot of your time just like a child . They require lots of attention . They need to be exercised often , walked daily (if you do not have a backyard) , played with , trained etc !
Of course puppies are cute BUT they can be expensive also ! Things to consider (food , grooming , daycare , vet check ups , emergency vet visits , toys , pet sitting , etc)
This is very important ! Just because you are ready for a puppy doesn't mean your entire family is ready . A puppy is a big commitment and will need all helping hands . I have witness arguments due to the entire family not being on board .
